Hi all!

Welcome to my 8th ever version of my game Succubus Survivors! In this update I have added the brand new, 5th level, Desecrated Sands! Ari has adventured through the snowy Twin Peak mountains and found the desert that lies beyond. Filled with exotic creatures, and cacti, she will need to be extra careful to survive!

Along with the new level comes 3 new unique enemies, The Feline-folk, The Jackalwere, and the Serpenti-folk, each with their own unique in-game sex animation! Plus, as you have already read, this level introduces a new unique mechanic! Environmental damage! The Desecrated Sands are littered with cacti that must be avoided or else you will receive damage! Along with cacti, I have introduced damage when in contact with fire and lava! So watch out on levels 3 and 4 too!

With v0.0.7, I received a lot of feedback stating that the game felt as if it had very poor pacing. Essentially, it was way too easy to get gold and max out every upgrade just within the first level. Initially, my design philosophy for this game was to make it a light-hearted, easy version of Vampire Survivors with porn being the main selling point. To follow that philosophy I made the enemies easy to deal with, xp easy to gain, and gold easy to come by. That way players could sit back and enjoy their favorite animations. With that design however, the experience no longer becomes a game where you must work to obtain something, it simply becomes a slightly interactive porn gallery. I still want players to be able to reach a point where they can sit back and enjoy their favorite animations, but I now realize they should have to put in a little work for it. That way it feels extremely rewarding once you reach that power spike, and ultimately provides the same feeling that made Vampire Survivors so addicting, even without the porn xD.

So with that in mind, in this update I have put in a lot of effort to finally nail the pacing of the game. I think the pacing this time around will be greatly appreciated and feel very rewarding. I have reworked all the permanent upgrades to have exactly 100 levels each. These permanent upgrades will start at 10 gold per; however, once you purchase an upgrade it will increase the price by an additional 10. Level 2 should cost 20, level 3 should cost 30 and so on. This will make being able to purchase every upgrade from level one impossible. In addition to that, in order to scale with these increased prices, I have added a gold multiplier to each level. Level 1 will give you 1x base gold, level 2 will give you 2x base gold, and so on. And again, additionally, the gold multiplier for surviving overtime also has been reduced. Before it was an extra 10 gold every 60 seconds. It is now an extra 1 gold every 30 seconds. This way you are still rewarded for surviving longer, but you do not become infinitely wealthy.

Also, on the subject of pacing, I have reworked enemy health, damage, speed and frequency. Every 60 seconds there will be a lot more enemies, with a lot more health and speed. You will die on your first run, you will most likely die on your second and third run, but each time you should be able to survive longer and longer. Then you will eventually not be able to keep up with the price of upgrades and you have to move onto the next level. Speaking of the next levels. I have reduced enemy HP on later levels to scale better with the player. I had received feedback stating that enemies in later levels felt really spongey. They should now scale perfectly with the recommended upgrade level.

Lastly, XP and gold have been reworked. Gold dropped from enemies will only be 1 gold piece. Also gold will only drop from enemies 10% of the time. XP will no longer be obtained by defeating enemies, instead you will have to pick up the XP gems dropped by enemies, which is now only worth 100xp. This new XP changed makes it so that you will have to move in order to get your XP. Further preventing the strategy of siting in an invulnerable location.

Now that most of the major changes are out of the way I want to talk about future plans. After adding the 5th level, I am now half-way through my planned levels for the game. On full release I feel 10 levels is a good point in terms of game length and content. So with that in mind, I am now going to pivot my development focus from level design to other things, such as weapons, upgrades, and so on. On the side, I plan to also do some touch up work on animations that are currently in the game. Level 4 needs some extra attention in particular.

P.S. A percentage of my art is AI generated. It is currently placeholder art. I plan to replace all of it with real and commissioned art on full release. AI art makes it easier for me to focus on gameplay and bug feedback in the development process, while giving players better art to look forward to in future builds. All in-game sex animations are made by me, frame by frame.

Any chance of getting a android version?

Yes, on full build i plan to release an android and steam version of the game

does it have breast expansion ?

unfortunately not at the moment, but I plan to add it in the future
